Amazon Redshift Spectrum is a feature of the Amazon Redshift data warehouse service that allows users to run SQL queries against exabytes of unstructured data in Amazon S3. It eliminates the need for data loading or transformation by querying data directly in the data lake using the same SQL syntax as standard Redshift.
