AWS Nitro Enclaves is a hardened, highly isolated virtual machine capability of the Amazon EC2 Nitro System, designed for processing highly sensitive data. It works in tandem with AWS Key Management Service (KMS), a managed service that enables users to create and manage cryptographic keys across AWS services and applications. Together, they provide a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) where sensitive code can run and access keys only after successful cryptographic attestation.
